while canon doesn't imply he has mindreading abilities of his own, he has a passive that allows him to shake off status effects quickly. based on this, i tend to extrapolate that he would at least sense telepathic interference and try his best to boot the intruder out.

PREFERRED THREADS
open to most things! gen threads could be fun for things like silly crew shenanigans, or just sandalphon having to navigate various tasks (ranging from mundane things like "it's your turn to do the laundry" to "hey, work with this person to locate this medicinal herb on this perilous mountain"), but i really enjoy threads with some degree of emotional intensity. slice of life is fine, like quest/holiday/festival shenanigans, and i'm very much open to more intense plots like larger adventures, e.g. sandalphon recruited to help with a diplomatic mission where tensions have risen, or dealing with another apocalyptic, world-ending event looming on the horizon. canon divergences and complete AUs are also a-okay with me! i would say i'm pretty open-minded when it comes to problematic themes as well—we know from the events of wmtsb that sandalphon does have it in him to be cruel and terrible, so i also don't mind exploring darker elements. just let me know if there's anything particular you have in mind so we can discuss!
